Meltaway , or more aptly known as Plastic Tearaway is a perfect backing or topping for delicate fabrics, like: organza, lycra, tulle, silk, lightweight cottons or polyesters, rayons etc. It’s the simple to handle topping for toweling. Another feature is that it can be hooped with nothing else and stitched directly on to its surface making a lace applique.
